The Korean electronics giant manufacturer, Samsung reaches a great achievement of its product selling. In Korea, its home, Samsung has sold more than 2.3 millions of Galaxy S and over 100 000 Galaxy Tab devices. Let’s check the full story.
Through several numbers of operators such as SK Telecom, KT and LG U+ network operators, one of several high specification Android phones, Galaxy S hit the 1.89 million units of selling in November. It adds the five months of total smartphones selling that is recorded to hit 2.3 million units. Samsung Galaxy S is also retailed by several carriers around the world and has been used by millions user across the world. This Samsung device doesn’t have any network exclusivity that is given by the carrier.
Samsung Galaxy S is running Google’s Android operating system but its successor is suspected to run Samsung’s operating system, Bada.
Samsung also has another device that is called Samsung Galaxy Tab. At the first time of its announcement, everything is sounds going to be fine until the Apple’s iPad spreads the charm. iPad is armed with very nice specs then becomes the Tab rival and makes the competition of market share more tight. Besides, the other competitors are planned to be released. They are the tablet device from LG and HTC. Actually, more choice of tablet on the market would increase everything involving the tablet itself. However, it may bring a little bad luck to Samsung’s sale.
Galaxy Tab is a smaller tablet device than iPad. It is equipped by a 7” screen, compared to iPad that has a 10” of screen. With its screen size, iPad is closer to netbooks than Tablet device.
Samsung also has a report about the Corby line selling. The Corby line is reported to hit 1.6 million of phones selling. The Samsung A130 gives a large contribution with its 1.3 million of selling record. Unfortunately, no more than a half million units Nori Series were sold.
