BlackBerry Bold 9700 has its official update in several time ago. Actually the update itself was just kind of the leaked one, but finally it went officially. Some people makes the unofficial update for few types of BlackBerry, but they failed to provide the new APIs. Here it is the latest update for BlackBerry Bold 9700, OS 5.0.0.862.
Due to the update is not the official, you will face the risk on your own. This update is also not supported by both manufacture and carrier. Just keep in your mind that the update is not always better than the previous. When some operating system is tested, it may sounds normal for certain feature to be disabled.
