Consumer Report has Found Antenna Issue Re-occurring in the Verizon’s iPhone 4

When we heard about the news that iPhone 4 going to Verizon, we assumed that Apple will fix the antenna issue found in the previous iPhone 4. Apparently things are not like we expected to be, the Verizon iPhone 4 is still caught up with the same antenna issue.

The so called “death grip” is still bugging the Verizon iPhone 4 owners with call drop, no signal, etc, when actually the Apple claimed to have re-designed the antenna for this CDMA network phone. This issue has been confirmed by Consumer Report after conducting a technical research on the phone.

As we all probably know that the problem occurs when something covers the antenna receiver that is located on the bottom left corner of the iPhone 4 and yes the usual manner in holding the phone will do that. On the previous version, Apple somehow manages to found the fix for this problem by providing a bumper so the user’s hands will not make a direct contact to the antenna.

Probably, Apple will do this again with the Verizon iPhone 4. Though it would fix the issue, but it is quite disappointing that Apple seems not taking it seriously regarding the issue of their best selling smartphone in the world.
