Samsung Wave lineup is running Samsung’s operating system that usually called with Bada OS. Bada is a Korean which can be translated as Wave in English. This operating system is almost one year old now and has released its update which is called with version 1.2. For the newer Bada running phones, it is very good for them since they will be blessed with the latest version of Bada operating system. However, the latest version of Bada also can be enjoyed by the Samsung S8500’s European users because it will be available for them at early next year.
Some changes are brought by version 1.2 of Bada. It provides an improvement on the security and also fixed bugs. Besides, this version also offers some changes on User Interface and the T9 Trace input method to the Bada running phone’s users.
Samsung has arranged the schedule of V1.2 update for Samsung S8500 Wave. It will update every Samsung S8500 Wave unlocked European unit’s operating system in early next year. What about the non-European S855 Wave? The non-European units are scheduled to get the update sometime in the Q1 2011.
Recently, there was leaked information about the future release of Bada operating system, Bada 2.0. However, it was just very limited.
