Guide to Gain Permanent Root Access of HTC Raider

Good news for the HTC Raider Android phone users who are currently expecting for a method to gain a permanent root access of their device as today you are going to know how to do it. Here is the list of prerequisites that need to be fulfilled for gaining the root access of HTC Raider:

• Unclocked bootloader from HTCDEV website.
• ADB set up on your system.
• ClockworkMod recovery image file.
Root zip file.

Once you have fulfilled the entire requirement, then you are set to follow the instruction steps. Here are the instructions to gain root access on HTC Raider as well as installing the ClockworkMod recovery on your device:

1. For the first step, you are going to be required to download the recovery file and extract it to android-sdk-windows\tools where fastboot.exe is.
2. After this, download the root zip file and copy it to the root of your SD card.
3. Once done, the next step requires you to put your phone in fastboot mode. Power off the phone and then hold the Volume down key as you press the Power button to turn it on. Once in bootloader mode, select fastboot with the help of the Volume keys.
4. The next stop, open command prompt or terminal and navigate to the location of the recovery image file. Enter the following command:

fastboot flash recovery root_recovery.img

5. When the recovery has done with its job flashing your device, reboot into recovery and navigate to install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard and select the root zip file.
6. Simply reboot your device for once more after the zip file is done flashing.
