How to Fix the Drop Wi-Fi Connections Issue on HTC Desire S

How if when you were in the middle of downloading data from the internet through Wi-Fi connections but then the connection is dropped due to any reason? It is so annoying, right? So unfortunate for those who are using the HTC Desire S since according to the XDA-Developers forum member gtg465x, the device will drop the Wi-Fi connections if the signal strength falls below –88db. The drop Wi-Fi connection issue is complaint by many Desire S users. Actually, this is how the device programmed by the manufacturer. For the Desire S users who have sick about the issue, please don’t worry since XDA-Developers forum member gtg465x have shared a valuable trick to solve the issue.

The point of this fix is allowing the device to continue using a Wi-Fi connection as long as the signal strength does not fall below -108db. Unfortunately the fix has not been tested by either the developer or the source. Anyway, if the fix works properly, it would be better than having the original threshold at -88db.

To install this fix, the first thing you have to do is installing the ClockworkMod recovery.

Please keep in mind that you are going to precede this fix at your own risk.
