For Sense 3.0 / 3.5
1. The installation process begins with downloading the mod from the link above and copies it to the root of your SD card.
2. Once done, you need to reboot into ClockworkMod recovery, and make a nandroid backup.
3. After this, you need to select wipe cache and wipe dalvick cache.
4. For the next step is flashing the mod. Navigate to install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard and select the mod.
5. Simply reboot your device when the mod has been successfully flashed.
For CM7 / MIUI
1. Just like installing mod on Sense 3.0/3.5, the installation on CM7 / MIUI begins with downloading the mod from the link above and extracts it to find 2 files.
2. Once done, rename Camera.apk to HTCCamera.apk
3. After this, install ES File Explorer or Root Explorer (paid) from the Android Market.
4. The next step is copying both the extracted files to the root of your SD card.
5. When the required files have been copied, run ES File Explorer or Root Explorer and make sure to enable Root Access to allow access to root level files on your device.
6. Navigate to /system/app/, and enable R/W access.
7. Find HTCCamera.apk and check the permissions for that app. Rename HTCCamera.apk to HTCCamera.apk.bak.
8. Navigate to /system/etc/, and enable R/W access.
9. Find media_profiles.xml and check the permissions for that app. Rename the file to media_prfiles.bak.
10. From the SD Card, copy HTCCamera.apk and paste to /system/app/. Set the permissions for that app as were set for the original app and revert R/W access to R/O.
11. Copy media_profiles.xml and paste to /system/etc/. Set the permissions for that app as were set for the original app and revert R/W access to R/O.
