For those who still want to reveal the device’s true potential, the RootzWiki forum member wildstang83 has developed a customized ROM that is named with Pure Shooter 3. This ROM is based on the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread that also sports with the latest and awesome Sense 3.0 UI.
The ROM is based on the RUU_Shooter_S_Sprint_WWE_1.13.651.7_release (CDMA SHOOTER). It is not only bringing the taste of Android 2.3.3 and boasts the Sense 3.0, there are some features pack in this ROM. Here is the list of those features:
• Deodexed and rooted of course.
• Bloatware has been removed and also deSPRINTed.
• Custom Boot animation added.
• Custom Rewind Lock ring.

Before starting to install the ROM on your device, there are requirements that need to be fulfilled. Here is the list of the requirements:
• Rooted HTC Droid Incredible.
• ClockworkMod recovery installed.
• Pure Shooter 3 ROM.
Once the requirements have been satisfied, read and follow the instructions thoroughly so you can install it properly:
Notification: DO NOT install via ROM Manager unless you want a mess on your hands.
• For the first step is downloading the ROM and copy it to the root of your SD card.
• After that, please reboot into recovery and make a Nandroid backup.
• Once the backup has been made, select wipe data factory/reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvick cache.
• Now navigate to install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard and select the ROM copied to your SD card.
• When you select the ROM, the installation will be started right away, so wait for the process to complete, and once it does, simply reboot your device.
