How to Install T-Mobile Galaxy S II Custom ROMs On AT&T Galaxy S II Skyrocket

Before we go further to the instruction steps, first you need to remember that we are not responsible if your device gets bricked or damaged because of practicing the method. So, please practice the method at your own risk.

Here is the list of requirements that need to be fulfilled in order to manage running the custom ROM on your Galaxy S II Skyrocket:

• A rooted Galaxy S II Skyrocket.
• ClockworkMod recovery installed.
Skyrocket conversion file.

Once you have fulfilled the entire prerequisite, here the instructions that need to be follow:

1. For the first step, you need to download the ROM of your choice meant for the T-Mobile Galaxy S II and the Conversion zip file from the link above.
2. When both the ROM and the conversion package have been successfully downloaded, then you need to copy those files on the root of your SD card.
3. Once done, reboot into recovery and make a nandroid backup.
4. When you are done with making a nandroid backup, select wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvick cache.
5. After this, navigate to install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard and select the ROM you copied to the SD card.
6. Once done, repeat step 5 for once more, but this time selecting the conversion package.
7. Reboot your device for one more time when you have done.

When you have finished practicing the entire step above, then you now should have booted into a new custom ROM. Nevertheless, it is not over yet as you still need to add your APN manually and here are the APN settings that need to be added for LTE access:

MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
APN type: internet + mms
