The first thing to do for enjoying the OVI Service is setting up an Ovi account. Apart from its function to make a back up contact from your lovely phone, setting up an Ovi account will help you with the Ovi Store and to use Nokia’s social networking widget. So, once you have an Ovi account, you will be allowed to enjoy so many different features.

If you had an Ovi account, simply visit ovi.com to start making a back up. Once you have entered the site, you are allowed to manage all of your contact details including adding new contacts, to editing existing ones, to deleting unwanted numbers. Once you have logged in, it is easy to manage all of your contact since the site displayed the contact clearly, completely with the picture if there was any.

Add a sync shortcut to the homescreen to sync the numbers from the device’s phonebook to Ovi.com. By clicking the Menu button, pressing Connectivity, Data Transfer and then pressing Synchronise the phone user will see the synced application.
To adjust the username and password details simply click Options and Sync setting. The phone user is allowed to set the Sync function to work automatically every month or manually. Simply head back to contacts.ovi.com once the phone user has pressed Synchronise will show the phone user know all of the newly synchronized data.
