The recent processor speed of Galaxy S has been benchmarked by several applications. On Quadrant, the overclocked device hit the score of over 3000, while the graphic card was tested by Neocore application and hit 78 FPS(Frame per second). The benchmark proves that Samsung Galaxy S is the most powerful smartphone today.
The improvement is still running. The team who developed the processor’s speed said that it is just the beginning. They will make the Hummingbird of Samsung Galaxy S run faster than now. However, overclocking is a risky stuff to do. It will heat the device and the battery would suffer.
Actually the overclocking is work for every Samsung Galaxy S device, but the people who did the overclock ran out of Samsung Fascinate. Once the team have the Fascinate device, they will make it running faster than its default speed.
