At April 28th the 2nd generation of Droid Incredible from HTC was finally released. The sixth difference is about the processor. Both of the Smartphone run in the same 1GHz clock speed CPU however the new Dinc 2 is using the better 2nd generation MSM8655 built using the more efficient 45nm technology compared to the old Snapdragon QSD8650 processor that used the 65nm technology.
The seventh difference is about the battery. The Dinc 2 has a slightly better battery in term of usage time on the Dinc 2 – 1450 mAh compared to the original Dinc’s 1300 mAh.
The number eight difference is about the Wi-fi capability. Here the second version of Dinc supports 802.11b/g/n, while on the other hand the original Dinc only officially supported b and g at launch. Actually the original Dinc has the chip that was capable of supporting 802.11n, however for some undisclosed reason it wasn’t enabled until froyo.
