Samsung Continuum has made it’s appearance a month ago, previews has been made regarding the specifications. In short the new Samsung Continuum is a candy bar-shaped phone with 3.4” Super AMOLED screen, four standard Android buttons, and the 1.8-inch, 96-pixel high time display at bottom all covered with a piece of glass.
Bringing more compact feeling than the Galaxy S the device build material is almost plastic all the way. It feels a lot like the Samsung Vibrant where it feels so light in weight yet it also feels sturdy. The device is powered with 1GHz that is looking really snappy.
The time display is actually needless accessory but since it is also very cool it is worth having. By griping the bottom of the device it will turn on the display with the default screen with time and weather. Swipe it and you will see your missed alerts and you may tap it to go to the application. Seen for a while the time display is quite functional, where you can take a peek on what is going on without having to put more action on the phone.
In conclusion, the device is all around attractive. However, this phone do not equipped with ground breaking feature. The cool device will be released in November 11th for $199 on Verizon with a $100 mail-in rebate. Interested?
