A very good achievement was achieved by Samsung Galaxy S. 200.000 units of Samsung Galaxy S was sold in its country. This achievement beats the previous achievement of iPhone 3Gs that sold 800.000 units in 8 months at the same country. However, this number would be increased as Apple selling. 1.7 millions of iPhone 4 was sold in just one week in its land.
Samsung also claims that they are brave to fight against another vendor in smartphone selling. It was proved with their statement that they want to release this smartphone in 110 countries and also to the market where several different versions of smartphone that launched via various major carriers, North America. They will sell their Samsung Galaxy S not only in Asia and Europe.
As a one of most successful Android smartphone of the year, Samsung Galaxy S featured 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, 1GHz processor, HD video recording and runs Android 2.1(soon will be updated to 2.2 froyo).
If the achievement of Samsung Galaxy S keep ran, it would be the most bestselling Android smartphone from Samsung.
