Samsung Wave running the Samsung made Bada OS surely is not an Android-based Samsung Galaxy S. The Bada OS is like a sheep in wolf’s clothing, it may look tough but weak within. Being not as smarter as Android, some industrious developers are putting their effort on porting the Google Android OS into the Bada OS devices.
So far the work has been paying off and progress has been made. Using some security holes occur in the Bada OS, a Galaxy S build of Android 2.2.1 has been successfully ported into the Wave. However, this porting still needs much development for example in RAM access and CPU drivers that are the main concern.
So when the project runs well and successful we will have another great Android smartphone available. Nevertheless, if it is not succeed and not fully functioning, it is understandable since the people behind the project are not yet willing to put more effort on it.
