This guide has been tested and it’s reported to be a success. This guide doesn’t involve any hardware tweaking and entirely based on software. It’s also worth noted that the fix does not involve any third party software or program and only work for Android 2.2 Froyo only.
Before we get to the step by step instruction, it is suggested for you to note down the original values you change in the fixing process just in case things don’t occur as you desired. Please follow the instruction below carefully at your own risk.

The first thing to do is to turn off your GPS.
Then enter *#*#3214789650#*#* in the Phone dialer to be taken to the LibTestMode.
Next, Navigate to Application Settings > Operation mode and change it to Standalone.
Again navigate to Application Settings > Timeout(s) and change the variable to 100.
After that, navigate to SUPL/CP Settings > Server & Port and change it to supl.google.com with port 7276.
Now simply reboot your phone and test your GPS out.
