As BlackBerry Curve launch in China At the same time, BlackBerry Research In Motion (RIM) denote that before the end of the year, a six new devices will be hitting markets around the world.
It announce various BlackBerry, range from the low-end to the top-end device, including the announcement launch date for the BlackBerry 9800 slide QWERTY touchscreen device.
Bundled with AT&T and a six month exclusive service, the BlackBerry 9800 will launch in August 2010. The launched version probably will run on OS 6.0 and attached with 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi connection, HSDPA radio, 512RAM and 4GB micro SD card included.
The BlackBerry Bold 9800 is set to launch on AT&T with a six-month exclusive in August 2010. The final version looks like it will run OS 6.0; have a 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, 512MB RAM, a 4GB microSD memory card, and the HSDPA radio. The phone provide flexibility to use, it can be screen tapping based like the Storm, or like original Bold with the hard keys.
There are also announcement of the updated 9300/9330 GSM/EVDO versions. This device is not touchscreen but it does have 256MB memory and Wi-Fi as it already launched around the world.
Also announced, another version of BlackBerry Bold 9700 touchscreen and running in OS 6 and 9670 clamshell will launch somewhere in Q3-Q4. The last is another version of Curve with touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard but without trackpad will launch in Q4.
