• ADB with fastboot installed.
Insecure kernel.
Root toolkit.

Instructions for rooting HTC Jetstream:

1. The rooting process begins with downloading the kernel and the root toolkit from the links above and extracts the contents of the toolkit.
2. Once done, you need to rename the kernel to insecure or anything easy.
3. After this, you have to connect the device to the PC and make sure USB debugging is enabled.
4. Once done, you have to reboot the device in fastboot mode. It can be done by opening command prompt and entering the following command on your PC:

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot insecure.img

5. When the device has finished booting, then you have to run RUNME.bat from the toolkit you extracted.

Once you have finished with the entire instruction above and everything goes as planned, now you should have gained the root access of your HTC tablet permanently.
