HTC Aria which is the close relative of HTC HD mini gets ready for having a partnership with the one of several service providers in US, AT&T. HTC Aria has more or less same specification with HTC HD mini; The are the operating system, a different set of hardware keys and the addition of an optical trackpad that separate these two phones. HTC Aria is running android 2.1.
Similar with HTC HD mini. HTC Aria is armed with 3.2” capacitive touchscreen, 5MP camera and 3G connection. For the connectivity, HTC is using quad-band GSM/EDGE and 3G with HSPA. It also has Wi-Fi and GPS. The 1200mAh Li-Ion battery that last for up to 15 days for standby and 6 hours of talk time has been chosen to support this phone. HTC Aria has a micro-SD slot for memory expansion but it also has standard 2GB of memory card.
The AT&T press release says that the Aria is exclusive for AT&T in the US and it will launched to market in June 20. For the price of this phone is 230 US dollars (130 after a mail-in rebate), including a contract worth for 2 years and smartphone data plan.
