Apple’s iPhone 4 just got a new contender from HTC device. It is called HTC Desire HD. This phone has become a very good topic discussion recently. So, is it strong enough to beat the iPhone 4? Let’s check the comparison.

Size, sometimes it becomes a consideration while choosing a phone. which one is more comfortable with you pocket size? In this section, iPhone 4 is beating the dimension of Desire HD. The dimension of iPhone is 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3mm and 137g of weight while the Desire HD’s dimension is 123 x 68 x 11.8mm and 164g of weight. Larger dimension also means has a larger screen as well.

The Desire HD screen is a 4.3 inch of LCD that has a resolution of 480×800. The Apple’s screen is a 3.5 inch of TFT-LCD with 960×640 of resolutions. Again, the size does not really matter here. The Retina display of iPhone is totally superb when it shows the picture and the colors. HTC Desire HD is really to be worried to admit that iPhone4’s screen is better.

Even though they have the same 512MB of RAM, BlackBerry Torch has to admitt that iPhone’s processor is better. iPhone 4 is armed with 1GHz while Torch 9800 only provides the 624MHz. iPhone’s screen is still better and bigger than Torch’s. iPhone’s screen is 3.5 inch with resolution 960 x 640 while Torch only provides 3.2 inch with 480 x 360 of resolution. BlackBerry Torch 9800 sounds more advance while we discuss about Web browsing. It also adopts a webkit based browser. Even though tap zoom and scrolling with iPhone is better, Torch 9800 loads the site quite well. The best point of Torch 9800 is providing the new design with its touchscreen while the other BlackBerry still becomes traditional BlackBerry. The operating system is also providing some changes in user interface.

Nowadays, Samsung has produced few high-end devices, running on Symbian, Windows Mobile, Android and Bada. The latest news is the Samsung Galaxy S; this Samsung flagship device comes with a powerful processor and fine crisp screen.
